The scope of education at Graduate Institute of Nursing, Linkou campus are twofold: Clinical Nursing, which focuses on the clinical healthcare for clients of all ages and their families in various healthcare settings by a Clinical Nursing Specialist (CNS); and Community Health Nursing, whose aim is to provide healthcare to residents in communities by an Advanced Community Nursing Specialist (ACN).

There are five characteristics of our graduate education:

• We have small-sized classes, a spacious teaching environment, e-learning equipment, and rich practicums.
• All our faculty members hold doctoral degrees with expertise in diverse academic and clinical areas of specialty.
• Internationally well-known scholars and professors are invited to give speeches and teach courses to broaden the global perspectives of our teachers and students.
• Graduate students have ample opportunities to participate in research studies with faculty members, in cooperation with industry or other academic institutes.
• Each graduate student has his/ her individual work area at the laboratory.

Our vision for the future is to promote excellence in nursing professionals and to provide high quality health services in Taiwan. We believe that in the near future we shall have the best Clinical Nursing Specialists (CNS) and Advanced Community Nursing Specialists (ACN) who become an integral part of Taiwan’s sound healthcare system.
